Our Asia Destinations, at a Glance
Asia is the broadest region on this list, spanning genuinely different kinds of trips: Southeast Asian beach-and-culture destinations (Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, the Maldives), East Asian city trips (Japan, South Korea), the Caucasus and Central Asia's mountain and Silk Road routes (Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan), the short-haul Gulf weekend at Dubai, and two hard-visa destinations we approach honestly rather than as standard tour packages (Russia, China). Each has its own full itinerary, priced and planned separately. The Southeast Asian destinations tend to be the easiest to arrange independently, which is why our value on those pages is mostly logistics and quality control — vetting a dive operator, timing a sunrise trek correctly, booking a domestic flight that actually connects. The Caucasus and Central Asia destinations are a different story: genuinely under-visited routes with far less English-language planning information available, where we've already done the groundwork most travel blogs haven't covered yet.

Every destination above has its own full itinerary, package details and pricing on its dedicated page — this page exists to help you narrow down 19 very different trips to the one that fits you. If you're torn between two, tell us both and what you liked about each — that's usually enough for us to point you toward the one that actually matches what you want out of the trip, not just what looked good in photos. There's no wrong answer among these 19; there's just the one that fits your dates, budget and interests. As with every page here, the summaries above are a starting point — the full itinerary, inclusions and current pricing live on each destination's own page.
