Germany Tours From Saudi Arabia and the Gulf

Berlin's history and Bavaria's castles, connected by rail — with the Neuschwanstein Castle entry booked before you fly, not fought for on the day.

Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps, Germany
Berlin to Bavaria

Germany's two halves of this trip — Berlin's history and Bavaria's castles and Alpine scenery — are usually connected by a high-speed train that needs booking on specific departures, not bought on arrival at the platform if you want a guaranteed seat. Neuschwanstein Castle, the most-photographed stop, caps daily tour-group entries and sells out its slots well ahead in summer. We book the train on the right departure, the castle entry, and a private driver around Bavaria.

  • The Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall memorial and Museum Island in Berlin
  • A high-speed rail connection to Munich, booked on a confirmed departure
  • A pre-booked, skip-the-line tour of Neuschwanstein Castle
  • Munich's old town and the Hofbräuhaus
  • A private driver for Bavaria's castle and lake circuit
From SAR 3,800 per person, land package only (6 days)
Overview

Overview: Germany for Gulf Residents

The route runs Berlin first — a compact, walkable city for the historical sights — then a high-speed rail connection south to Munich, the base for the Bavarian castle and Alpine-lake day trips. The rail leg is the part most self-planners underestimate: unreserved seats on the busiest departures can mean standing for over four hours, and Neuschwanstein Castle's own tour-group entry system, separate from simply reaching the town, caps how many people get inside per day.

The Honest Answer

Why Book This Instead of Arranging It Yourself

The rail connection, reserved properly. Unreserved seats on Germany's busiest high-speed routes can mean standing for the full journey between Berlin and Munich. We book a confirmed, reserved-seat departure that matches your itinerary.

The castle's own entry system. Reaching the town below Neuschwanstein is easy; getting inside the castle itself runs on a separate, capped tour-group ticketing system that sells out in summer. We book this specifically, not just the general area.

Visa prep for your specific case. Most Gulf nationalities need a Schengen visa regardless of GCC residency. We confirm the current requirement for your specific nationality before you commit to anything.

Visa rules change. We confirm current requirements for your nationality and residency status before you commit to anything.

Timing

Best Time to Go

May through September is the most comfortable window for both Berlin and Bavaria, and the Alpine scenery around Neuschwanstein is at its best. December brings Christmas markets in both cities, at the cost of cold weather; winter (January–March) is the quietest and coldest window.

For scheduling against the Gulf calendar, the mid-October half-term and Christmas holidays both work well — October for mild weather and thinner crowds, December for the markets.

Before You Book

Practical Notes for Gulf Residents

Departure airports: we route itineraries out of Riyadh (RUH), Jeddah (JED), Dammam (DMM), Dubai (DXB), Doha (DOH), Kuwait City (KWI), Bahrain (BAH) and Muscat (MCT). Flight options and layover length vary by city, and we factor that into your itinerary timing.

Visa and residency: your Schengen visa requirement is based on your nationality, not your Gulf residency. We confirm the exact requirement for your case before booking.

Currency and connectivity: Germany uses the euro. Card acceptance is good in cities but noticeably more cash-reliant than much of Western Europe, especially at smaller shops and some restaurants — worth carrying some cash. A local SIM or eSIM is straightforward to arrange on arrival.

Germany rewards the trip more than the planning here — the two halves of this route, Berlin and Bavaria, each work well on their own; the part worth outsourcing is the rail connection and the castle's own ticketing system between them. You confirm your dates; we handle the logistics.
